Hi Michael,

A company isn’t obliged to answer questions about their financial reporting which come from members of the public. However, their publicly available financial statements should disclose which accounting standards they apply when preparing their financial statements. So it’s likely that the answer is already available on the web if you know where to look. If it’s a UK Limited or Public Limited Company you can find their details on Companies House.
